Whether intended for the agricultural sector or public works machinery, the parts that come out of our workshops are tested under pressure as high as 600 bars. The components we produce for your hydraulic circuits must be strong and reliable links for the entire chain.

Raw foundry castings often have a complex shape (heavily cored out), and material’s soundness must be guaranteed in order to avoid leakage. The development of complex parts is made possible thanks to a network of foundries who partner with SMTG.

Absolutely no chip flow can be tolerated in order to avoid damaging the other components of the hydraulic circuit. Maintaining control over the state of a part’s surface and keeping it free of rough edges are also indispensable to avoid leakage. This way, our production and testing protocols guarantee complete oversight of roughness requirements as well as the utmost cleanliness of each part.

Teams at SMTG also conduct many tests on these parts:
• Parts washing by immersion, agitation and ultrasound
• Airtightness testing
